Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the service. This includes only the images you upload for solving (which are not stored permanently).
We do not require an account or registration to use Sudoku Solver. No personal identifiers such as your name, email address or IP address are stored on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
Uploaded images are processed server-side solely for digit recognition and grid solving purposes. Images are temporarily held in memory during processing and are neither stored nor logged.
Language and theme preferences are stored locally in your browser using cookies. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade or share your personal data with third parties. Only anonymous analytics are used to improve the service, and they contain no identifiable information.
The only third-party services involved are essential infrastructure providers such as the hosting provider (myself), the entry point (Ionos GmbH) and CDN services for font delivery, all of which operate under strict data processing agreements.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data during transmission, including HTTPS encryption for all communications between your browser and our servers.
Server-side processing is sandboxed and no persistent storage of user-submitted content takes place.
Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify or erase any personal data we hold about you (we are required to include this statement even though we hold none of your personal data). You may also restrict or object to certain processing activities.
